Attorney John Grenko of Reading, PA; dimwit, repeat offender

The state of Pennsylvania presented John Joseph Grenko with a law license in 1976 after he graduated from the University of Toledo School of Law.

FYI: The University of Toledo Law School is ranked as the 149th best law school in the country out of 200 ABA (American Bar Association) accredited law schools.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Johnny guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

Johnny’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to communicate with his client

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary admonition.

Johnny’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to deposit client funds into client trust account
  • Failed to promptly comply with client document requests
  • Failed to provide an accounting to client
  • Failed to respond to repeated client calls or emails
  • Failed to provide competent representation (dimwit)
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to abide by client decisions concerning objectives of the representation
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
  • Failed to withdraw upon client termination
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Johnny!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Johnny fails to disclose the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.johngrenkolaw.com. Apparently, he decided to conceal said relevant facts from prospective clients to prevent limiting his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. January 2021), Johnny practices his brand of law at 519 Walnut Street in Reading, Pennsylvania.
