Attorney Joseph Vaccaro of Philadelphia, PA; slacker, loser

The state of New Jersey presented Joseph Vaccaro with a law license in 1998 after he graduated from the St. John’s University School of Law.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Joey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in gross neglect of client matters
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to communicate with a client
  • Failed to expedite client litigation
  • Knowingly disobeyed obligation under rules of a tribunal (Up yours, said Joey!)
  • Failed to make reasonably diligent efforts to comply with legally proper discovery requests by an opposing party
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Joey by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. December 2020), Joey practices his brand of law at 5918 Torresdale Avenue in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
