Attorney Cynthia Butler of Bessemer, AL; cheating loser

The state of Alabama presented Cynthia Vines Butler with a law license in 2002 after she graduated from Birmingham University School of Law.

The Alabama State Bar Association found Cindy guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in a conflict of interest
  • Failed to safeguard client funds
  • Engaged in prohibited transactions with a client
  • While acting as trustee, Cindy collected an excess fee of approximately $42,610.00 (cheater)
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Alabama Supreme Court punished Cindy by gifting her with a complimentary 91-day suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. January 2021), Cindy practices at 1801 3rd Avenue North in Bessemer, Alabama.
