The state of Virginia presented Judith Mara Cofield with a law license in 1978 after she graduated from William & Mary University School of Law.

The Virginia State Bar Disciplinary found Judy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with candor toward a tribunal (liar)

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Virginia Bar Disciplinary Board punished Judy by gifting her with a complimentary admonition.
