Attorney Samuel Richardson III of Oak Ridge, NC; fraudster, repeat offender

 

The state of North Carolina presented Samuel Richardson III with a law license in 1999 after he graduated from George Washington University School of Law.

 

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Sammy guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Sammy’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Notarized a document while making a statement in the acknowledgment that he knew to be false or fraudulent
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation
  • Caused his paralegal to place a false and fraudulent acknowledgement on the deed of trust resulting in the Secretary of State revoking her commission as a notary

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Sammy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

 

Sammy’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Engaged in an improper ex parte [one-sided] communication with a judge
  • Engaged in conduct is prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Disregard for court’s decision and opposing counsel’s objection, opposing party’s lawyer’s fees to file a motion to set aside the order
  • Failed to inform trial court of opposing counsel’s changes to proposed court order
  • Conduct caused the judge to sign an order that you knew did not accurately reflect the court's decision

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Sammy by gifting him with a complimentary censure.
