Attorney Richard Beauchesne of San Ramon, CA; shoplifter, repeat offender

The state of California provided Richard Bernard Beauchesne with a law license in 1972 after he graduated from the University of California Hastings School of Law.

The California State Bar Court found Dick guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

Dick’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Charged with petty theft at Borders Bookstore in Santa Clara County
  • Value of stolen property was $59.92
  • Pled no contest [guilty in effect] to misdemeanor trespassing

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the State Bar Court punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary reproval.

Dick’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Misconduct involved multiple acts of wrongdoing
  • Pled no contest to driving under the influence (DUI)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the State Bar Court punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 2-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the State Bar Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Dick.

As we speak (ca. May 2020), Dick practices at 231 Market Place in San Ramon, California.
