Attorney James Screnar of Bozeman, MT; check bouncing aficionado

The state of Montana presented James J. Screnar with a law license in 1967 after he graduated from the University of Montana School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel of Montana (ODC) found Jimmy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Wrote several checks on insufficient funds account (rubber)
• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Failed to maintain an IOLTA account in accordance with the trust Account Maintenance and Audit Requirements)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Montana Supreme Court punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary admonition.  

As we speak (ca. May 2020), Jimmy practices at 618 West Griffin Drive in Bozeman, Montana.
