Attorney Mark Bixby of Springfield, MA; moronic slacker

The state of Massachusetts presented Mark William Bixby with a law license in 1988 after he graduated from Boston University School of Law.

The Board of Bar Overseers found Mark guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to provide competent representation (moron)
  • Dismissed client’s case without prior client authorization
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Failed to keep the client informed about the status of her case a
  • Failed to return client telephone calls
  • Intentionally misrepresented the status of the case to the client
  • Failed to obtain an expert opinion from a qualified physician until three years after he was retained
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Overseers punished Mark by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. March 2020) Mark practices at 175 State Street in Springfield, Massachusetts.
