Attorney Robert Bell of Reno, NV; scamming loser

The state of Nevada presented Robert C. Bell with a law license in 1980 after he graduated from the University of Pacific McGeorge School of Law.

The Nevada Disciplinary Board found Bobby guilty of the following misconduct.

• Attempted to enter guilty plea in traffic violation matter pending in East Fork Justice Court but had failed to first consult with his client to confirm that such a plea was what your client wanted
• Knowingly made a false statement of fact or law to a tribunal
• Submitted a waiver of your client’s constitutional right to a speedy trial in the justice court matter which purported to be signed by your client, but was not in fact signed by Bobby
• Failed to act with candor when dealing with trial court

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Nevada Supreme Court punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
