Attorney Andrew Bateman of Athens, TN; lying loser

The state of Tennessee provided Andrew Edward Bateman with a law license in 2015 after he graduated from the University of Tennessee School of Law.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Andy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• Failed to be candid when dealing with trial court
• Violated or attempted to violate Rules of Conduct or knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonest or misrepresentation
• Pursued claims that lacked merit
• Failed to be truthful when dealing with others

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Andy by gifting him with a complimentary censure.
