Attorney Sandra Gelso of Las Vegas; ethical goblin

The state of Nevada presented Sandra P. Gelso with a law license in 2011 after she graduated from the William Boyd School of Law.

The Nevada Disciplinary Board found Sandy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to safeguard client funds
• Misconduct involved multiple offenses 
• Failed to properly manage her trust account
• Mismanagement of trust account led to deficits resulting from improper fee disbursals
• Knowingly violated duties owed to his clients
• Engaged in a pattern of misconduct

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Nevada Supreme Court punished Sandy by gifting her with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of her law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Nevada Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Sandy.
