Attorney Angela Lizada of Las Vegas; slacker, repeater

The state of Nevada presented Angela Janelle Lizada with a law license in 2009 after she graduated from Stetson University School of Law.

The Nevada Disciplinary Board found Angie guilty of the following misconduct.

Angie’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to properly supervise office staff

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Nevada Supreme Court punished Angie by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

Angie’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to inquire as to the date on which each year of client’s taxes became due
• Failed to determine whether the IRS had attached liens for the taxes on client’s home

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Nevada Supreme Court punished Angie by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As one would suspect, Angie fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on her self-serving website at www.lizadalaw.com. Apparently, she decided to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients to assure that she would not limit her future victim pool.
