Attorney Scott Daniel of Reno, NV; cheating slacker

The state of Nevada presented Scott R. Daniel with a law license in 2011 after he graduated from American University School of Law.

The Nevada Disciplinary Board found Scotty guilty of the following misconduct.

• Cancelled several scheduled meetings with client
• Failed to respond to client phone calls
• Never filed any pleadings on client’s behalf during the year of representation
• Failed to refund unearned $450 upfront fee (cheater)
• Failed to return client file upon termination
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to respond to client information requests
• Failed to take reasonable steps to protect client interests upon termination

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Nevada Supreme Court punished Scotty by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand
