Attorney Gary Apps of Kalamazoo, MI; ethical elf

The state of Michigan presented Gary E. Apps with a law license in 1992 after he graduated from the Thomas M. Cooley School of Law.

The Calhoun County Hearing Panel #1 found Gary guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to notify the client that he received funds for two specific properties
  • Failed to deposit client funds into proper trust account
  • Failed keep a client reasonably informed regarding the status of a matter
  • Failed to promptly notify a client when funds in which the client has an interest in are received
  • Commingled client funds with personal funds

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Billy by gifting him with a complimentary 179-day suspension of his law license.

Additionally, Gary was ordered to pay restitution of $65994 and assessed costs of $797.42.

As we speak (ca. October 2019), Gary practices at 813 West South Street in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
