Attorney Stanford Manuia of Honolulu; convicted tax cheat, repeater

The State of Hawaii presented Stanford M.J. Manuia with a law license in 2077 after he graduated from the University of Hawaii School of Law. He also received a law license in 2002 from Missisissippi.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Stan guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Convicted of failing to file annual corporate and general excise tax returns for six consecutive years
  • Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
  • Convicted of failing to file annual withholding tax returns for five consecutive years
  • Misconduct involved multiple offenses

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Stan’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He was previously received a complimentary reprimand for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Counsel punished Stan by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. August 2018) Stan practices at 701 Bishop Street in Honolulu, Hawaii.
