Attorney James Pengilly of Las Vegas; potty mouth bully

The state of Nevada presented James W. Pengilly with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from the University of Nevada School of Law.

Disciplinary Counsel found Chris guilty of the following misconduct.

• During a deposition used vulgarities
• Called the witness derogator names
• Aggressively interrupted the witness and opposing counsel
• Personally answered several questions for the deponent
• Repeatedly made inappropriate statements on the record
• Asked the deponent if he was “ready for it” while positioning his hand near his hip
• Displayed to the deponent and opposing counsel a firearm he had holstered on his hip

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Nevada Supreme Court punished Chris by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license effective January 7,m 2019.

As we speak, (ca. April 2019), Jimmy will resume his practice of law with the Pengilly Law Firm at 1995 Village Center Circle in Las Vegas, Nevada in July 2019.
