Attorney David Evan Jones of Sacramento; pervert, convict 
The California Supreme Court presented David Evan Jones with a law license in 1993after he graduated from Whittier College School of Law.
At one time David Jones worked as an assistant Fresno County prosecutor.
During his time as an assistant Fresno County Prosecutor, Dave was arrested and then pleaded guilty to felony impersonation.
The California Attorney General's Office, which prosecuted the case, said Jones used his ex-girlfriend's personal information to create fake online profiles about her that included explicit messages soliciting sex.
Additionally, Dave the Perv actually posed as the woman he was harassing on the internet by soliciting individuals to contact her for sex and to call her at work and home. Much of this misconduct took place while Dave was a deputy DA in Fresno.
Dave the Perv was sentenced to five years of probation and 1,440 hours of community service. Because Attorney Misfits are held to a lower standard of conduct, Dave wasn’t required to serve any time in the joint.
Subsequently, the California Bar Court filed misconduct charges against Dave for his felony conviction.
As a consequence of his felonious conduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Bar Court punished Dave by gifting him with a complimentary two year suspension.
Isn’t it comforting to know that there are convicted felons practicing law in Sacramento? I suppose it wouldn’t have been fair to disbar Dave and thereby deny him an opportunity to earn a dishonest living as an attorney, right?
As we speak (ca. Jan 2012) Dave practices law at 3610 Cutter Way in Sacramento.
