Attorney Felix DeJean of Baton Rouge; serial bully, convicted criminal

The state of Louisiana presented Felix Anthony DeJean with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from Louisiana State University School of Law.

The Louisiana Disciplinary Board found Felix guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Convicted of battery from an incident in judge’s chambers during spat with DA Bradley Burget
  • Chest bumped Burget twice
  • Called DA Burget a “fucking coward”
  • Failed to acknowledge serious nature of his misconduct

As one would suspect, this isn’t Felix’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously was previously placed on probation based on a fining of anger control issues, cause by mental health problems and use of a controlled substance and alcohol. He also received a complimentary reprimand in 2013 for threatening violence against opposing parties during a meeting at his office.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Felix by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. October 2018), Felix practices at 604 Saint Ferdinand Street in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
