Attorney David Arredondo of El Monte, CA; moron, repeat offender

The state of California provided David Arredondo with a law license in 1976 after he graduated from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Law.

The State Bar Court found Davey guilty of the following misconduct.

Davey’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Issued electronic checks from client trust account to pay for personal and business expenses
• Willfully misused client trust account funds

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Bar Court punished Davey by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

Davey’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Engaged in multiple acts of wrongdoing
• Caused significant harm to his client
• Failed to file opening appellate brief on client’s behalf
• Intentionally, recklessly or repeatedly failed to perform with competence (moron)
• Failed to take reasonable steps to avoid foreseeable prejudice to his client
• Improperly withdrew from client representation
• Failed to keep client informed of status of matter

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Bar Courtpunished Davey by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.
