Attorney Greer Goff of New Orleans, LA; ethical goblin

The state of Louisiana presented Greer E. Goff with a law license in 1989 after she graduated from Southern University School of Law.

The Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board found Greer guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to take steps to assure that firm had in effect measures giving reasonable assurance that a non-lawyer employee’s conduct was compatible with rules of professional conduct
  • Assisted non-lawyer in illegal practice of law
  • Knowingly assisted another in violating Rules of Professional Conduct
  • Failed to report unprivileged knowledge of ethics violations to State Bar

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Greer by gifting her with a complimentary 3-month suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. April 2019)  Greer practices at 3907 Carondelet Street in New Orleans, Louisiana.
