Attorney Jonathan Callister of Las Vegas; attempted bribery

The state of Idaho presented Jonathan C. Callister with a law license in 2002 after he graduated from Penn State University School of Law.

The Idaho Bar Counsel found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

• Offered money to a fact witness contingent on the witness’s testimony
• Threated criminal action against potential witness for refusal to testify as Johnny directed
• Engaged in conduct involving
• Sent letter to witnesses of a will who had submitted affidavits telling them that in exchange for their testimony that they never witnessed the decedent sign a will he would pay each of them $5,000
• Offered same witnesses additional $2,000 to release all claims against them for their erroneous affidavits
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Idaho Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary 35-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. September 2018), Johnny practices at 300 East Charleston Avenue in Las Vegas, Nevada.
