Attorney Charles Beibesheimer of Clear Lake, IA; ethical troll

The state of Iowa provided Charles H. Beibesheimer with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from Drake University School of Law.

The Disciplinary Counsel of the Iowa Supreme Court found Charlie guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to expedite client litigation
  • Failed to communicate status of matter with client
  • Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
  • Failed to effort to comply with opposing party’s discovery requests
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Failed to advise client of court order
  • Frivolous conduct led to imposition of court order to pay opponent’s attorney fees

As one would suspect, this isn’t Charlie’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Appel Tree. He previously received three (3) complimentary admonishments for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Charlie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. August 2018), Charlie practices in Clear Lake, Iowa.
