Attorney Richard Heartquist of Newburyport, MA; idiotic liar

The state of Massachusetts provided Richard Heartquist with a law license in 1993 after he graduated from the University of Massachusetts Law School.

The Board of Bar Overseers found Dick guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to maintain records of his IOLTA conveying account as required by the rules
• Failed to provide competent representation (idiot)
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to maintain requisite chronological check register
• Failed to promptly deliver funds owing to clients 
• Failed to maintain individual client ledges
• Failed to maintain client reconciliation reports
• Failed to properly supervise office staff
• Failed to promptly notice clients of receipt of client funds
• Made misrepresentations to ethics investigators (Screw you, said Dick!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Bar Overseers punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. October 2018), Dick practices in Newburyport, Massachusetts.
