Attorney Richard Annen of San Diego; ethical misfit

The state of California presented Richard James Annen with a law license in 1980 after he graduated from Notre Dame University Law School.

The California State Bar Court found Dick guilty of the following misconduct.

• Improperly entered into agreement to settle claim with client if she agreed to not file ethics complaint against Dick

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California State Bar Court punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary reproval.
