Trump blames Obama for worsening Trade Deficit

Several anonymous and unreliable sources recently (February 2018) that Donald “Trumporleone” Trump was very depressed when the Commerce Department released its annual trade deficit figures for 2017.

The trade deficit increased more than 12 percent in 2017, to $566 billion — its highest level since 2008, according to figures released on February 6, 2018 by the Commerce Department. (Doug Palmer)

The trade deficit with China rose to a record $375 billion. Trade deficits with Canada, Mexico and Japan also increased. And worst of all the trade deficit with California increased by a stunning 22%.

After consulting with a group of financial advisors that included Sean Hannity, Rush “The Doper” Limbaugh and Rep. Devin Nunes, The Great Leader agreed with this group of financial wizards that the dramatic trade deficit increases were the fault of President Obama and his Chief Financial Advisor Hillary Clinton. Put simply, if it weren’t for the liberal, socialist, un-American, God hating policies of Obama, the deficits would have been halved.

The Great Leader was rumored to say that 2018 should see the total elimination of all trade deficits other than those that are Obama and Clinton’s fault.
