Attorney Samuel Popkin of Jacksonville, NC; ethical gremlin

The state of North Carolina presented Samuel P. Popkin with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from North Carolina Central University Law School.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Sammy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to respond to client information requests regarding his appointment to represent a parent in a termination of parental rights case
• Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Sammy!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Sammy gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. February 2019) Sammy practices at 1007 Hargett Street in Jacksonville, North Carolina.
