The state of North Carolina presented Robert G. Raynor Jr. with a law license in 1984 after he graduated from Wake Forest University Law School.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Bobby guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to perform required client trust account reconciliations
• Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
• Failed to balance monthly bank statements
• Failed to safeguard client funds
• Misconduct involved multiple offenses

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year stayed suspension of his law license. 

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Disciplinary Committee didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Bobby.
