Newt Gingrich outraged Paul Manafort rousted out of bed in his pajamas

Shortly after the FBI raided Paul Manafort’s residence Newt Gingrich feigned outrage that a court-approved the raid. 

During a late 2017 appearance on the Sean Hannity Comedy Show hosted by the Fox News Comedy Network, Newt decided to feign outrage at the way the FBI raided Paul Manafort’s home, a raid that was approved by a federal judge.

Prior to appearing with comedian Hannity, Newt made the following statement about Special Counsel Robert Mueller on May 17, 2017.

• “Robert Mueller is superb choice to be special counsel.”
• “His reputation is impeccable for honesty and integrity.”
• “Media should now calm down.”

However, after donning a pair of Trumpian Brand ™ Industrial Strength Knee Pads in honor of The Great Leader, Newt made the following statement to his beau Hannity and Hannity’s law I.Q. followers.

• Accused Mueller of “the most grotesque abuse” of power for raiding Manafort’s home and waking him up in his pajamas.
• Said the Justice Department was “corrupt.”

Newt’s “flip-flop” on this matter is in keeping with his ongoing love affair with Sean and The Great Leader. It appears as though Newt is angling for an appointment as Secretary of the Treasury Steve Mnuchin or Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke as soon as The Don decides it is in his best interest to dump one of them.
