Attorney Douglas Wilson of Roanoke; convicted felon

The state of Virginia presented Douglas Downes Wilson with a law license in 2004 after he graduated from American University Law School.

The Virginia State Bar Disciplinary found Doug guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Convicted of aiding/abetting evasion of federal taxes, a felony
  • Convicted of interfering with IRS collection efforts, a felony

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Virginia Bar Disciplinary Board punished Doug by gifting him with a complimentary 3-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. January 2018), Doug practices with the Wilson Law Firm PLC at 4725 Garst Mill Road in Roanoke, Virginia.
