Attorney Danny Garland II of Knoxville, TN; slacker

The state of Tennessee unfortunately presented Danny Carol Garland II with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from the University of Tennessee Law School.

The Board of Professional Responsibility found Danny guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with client
• Misconduct involved multiple offenses
• Violated or attempted to violate Rules of Conduct or knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another
• Laziness led to significant delay in client’s adoption matter

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Danny by gifting him with a complimentary censure.
