Attorney Cabell Regan of Pittsboro, NC; repeat offender

The state of North Carolina presented Cabell J. Regan with a law license in 2003 after he graduated from Campbell College Law School.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Cabell guilty of the following misconduct.

Cabell’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Engaged in unfair business transaction with client

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Cabell by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand. 

Cabell’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to advise client of settlement offer
• Engaged in multiple acts of misconduct
• Failed to discuss dismissal of client’s lawsuit prior to taking actions that he knew or should have known violated attorney disciplinary rules
• Failed to respond to discovery leading to imposition of sanctions
• Dismissed client’s lawsuit without performing necessary preparation to determine applicable rules governing client’s federal claims
• Conduct caused actual prejudice to be visited upon client

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Cabell by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand. 

As we speak (ca. July 2017) Cabell practices in Pittsboro, North Carolina.
