FYI: Elmer Gantry was a notorious and cynical alcoholic who was mistakenly ordained as a Baptist minister who then went about acting as a “New Thought” evangelist. For some reason Elmer eventually becomes a Methodist minister.
Even though Rev. Elmer Gantry was a fictional minister, he has nonetheless been an inspirational mentor for religious zealots hell-bent on enriching themselves at the expense of their followers.
Rev. Hagee is the pastor of the Cornerstone Church in San Antonio with an active following of nearly 20,000 suckers, I’m sorry I mean parishioners.
In an obnoxious effort to unjustly enrich himself and his family members, Greedy Johnnie has cheerfully bilked his followers for many, many years by grossly overcharging them for books he hawks on his web site.
The tables below this article demonstrate the perverted arrogance of Johnny as he and his family members go about fleecing the flock. You’ll see instances wherein Johnny had the chutzpah to demand an “offering “ of $14.00 for a book he allegedly authored that can be purchased at Amazon.com for $0.10. That’s one-penny Boyz and Girls.
If charging your parishioners $14.00 for something they can buy for $0.01 or $0.23 isn’t outright fraud I damn sure don’t know what is, do you?
You should also know that unlike Borders, Amazon or your local book store, Hagee Ministries doesn’t pay any income tax on these obscene profits. In fact, if you’re a member of one of Rev. Gantry’s targeted groups like gay Americans or Catholics, you can personally take satisfaction knowing that you’re paying income taxes to make up for what Elmer isn’t paying. Isn’t America a great country?
Congrats Johnny; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of the country’s most accomplished Greedy Elmer Gantry Wannabees; you are far too humble.
