Attorney Jeffrey Dickerson of Reno, NV; dimwit, repeat offender

The state of Nevada presented Jeffrey A. Dickerson with a law license in 1986 after he graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law.

The Nevada Disciplinary Board found Jeff guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

Jeff’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Sanctioned over $1 million in federal district court
• Filed 15 actions related to the same litigation and engaged in inappropriate litigation practices
• Failed to properly disburse settlement funds
• Failed to address a conflict between clients regarding the distribution of settlement proceeds
• Failed to timely file client’s appeal
• Failed to provide competent representation (dimwit)
• Failed to safeguard client funds
• Failed to act fairly with opposing party and counsel

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Nevada Supreme Court punished Jeff by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

Jeff’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Attempted to violate the Rules of Professional Conduct
• Attempted to engage in the illegal practice of law while license suspended
• Failed to inform client of pending disciplinary matter and potential you would be suspended from practicing law for 18 months before she retained him and paid a $10,000 nonrefundable retainer
• Engaged in illegal practice of law in federal court despite being previously suspended by said court
