Attorney Arthur Teichberg of Valley Stream, NY; thieving loser

The state of New York presented Arthur Jay Teichberg with a law license in 1959 after he graduated from New York University (NYU) Law School.

The Departmental Disciplinary Committee found Art guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Improperly held himself out as his client’s counsel in collection matters after he had been discharged by the clients
  • Failed to withdraw representation when required to so act
  • Failed to preserve client funds in escrow account
  • Charged an excessive legal fee (thief)
  • Improperly claimed attorney’s lien over his client’s files
  • Misappropriated (stole) client funds (thief)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Departmental Disciplinary Committee punished Art by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. February 2017), Art practices at 4 Valley Lane North in Valley Stream, New York.
