Attorney Gregory Cortese of Sandy Valley, NV; ethical leprechaun

The state of Nevada presented Gregory V. Cortese with a law license in 1998 after he graduated from Whittier University Law School.

The Nevada Disciplinary Board found Greg guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to communicate with clients
  • Failed to expedite client litigation
  • Acted unfairly to opposing counsel
  • Failed to advise client of sanction of $7,786 in fees against the clients
  • Failed to pay court sanction of $7,786
  • Failed to appear at show cause hearing to find him in contempt re: sanction
  • Failed to advise clients of show cause hearing
  • Failed to inform clients of discovery sanction of $250 for improper responses

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Nevada Supreme Court punished Greg by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. December 2016), Greg practices with the Cortese Law Firm in Sandy Valley, Nevada.
