Attorney David Tanner of Las Vegas; convict, lying loser

The state of Nevada presented David L. Tanner with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from the University of San Diego Law School.

The Nevada Disciplinary Board found Dave guilty of the following misconduct.

• Pled guilty to one count of misdemeanor theft
• Misappropriated (stole) client’s car to be surrendered in bankruptcy case
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law
• Failed to safeguard client property
• Acted unfairly to opposing party or counsel
• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• Knowingly disobeyed obligation owed to a tribunal
• Untruthful in statements to others

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Nevada Supreme Court punished Dave by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.  

As we speak (ca. December 2016), Dave practices with David L. Tanner PC at 800 North Rainbow Blvd in Las Vegas, Nevada.
