Attorney Richard Alway of Salem, OR; ethical dwarf

The state of Oregon provided Richard F. Alway with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from Northwestern Law School.

The Oregon State Bar found Dick guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in a conflict of interest
  • Failed to advise client to seek outside advice regarding conflict
  • Engaged in negligent conduct in representation of client
  • Conduct resulted in potential injury to client

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. December 2016) Dick practices with Always & Associates at 2581 12th Street in Salem, Oregon.
