Attorney Richard Poe of Charlotte, NC; ethical dwarf

The state of North Carolina provided Richard S. Poe with a law license in 1981 after he graduated from the University of Texas Law School.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Dick guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Dick improperly endorsed his law firm employer’s name on checks payable to the firm and misappropriated the fees.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the supporters for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary revocation of his law license; however, the license was subsequently reinstated.

As we speak (ca. December 2016), Dick practices with Lancaster & Trotter PA at 4430 Park in Charlotte, North Carolina.
