Attorney Michael Guth of Oak Ridge, TN; serial liar

The state of Tennessee presented Michael Anthony Guth with a law license in 1998 after he graduated from the University of Tennessee Law School.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Mike guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Was untruthful (lied) in statements he made to others
  • Failed to act with candor towards a tribunal
  • Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit or misrepresentation
  • Pursued claims he knew to be frivolous
  • Refiled action in improper venue
  • Misled judge by saying all defendants had been served
  • Failed to disclose the first lawsuit he filed v. same defendants
  • Based on Mike’s lies, judge issued default judgment against a business and others

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Mike by the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility.

As we speak (ca. October 2016), Mike practices at 116 Oklahoma Avenue in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
