The State of South Carolina presented Robert Lee Newton Jr. with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from the University of South Carolina Law School.

Disciplinary Counsel of the South Carolina Supreme Court found Bobby guilty of the following misconduct.

• Committed criminal act
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law
• Engaged in conduct tending to pollute the administration of justice

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the South Carolina Supreme punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. September 2016) Bobby practices with The Dick James Law Firm LLC at 310 Rutherford Street in Greenville, South Carolina.
