Attorney Michael Byron Ball of Los Angeles; ethical leprechaun

The state of California provided Byron Talbot Ball with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from Pepperdine University Law School.

The California Bar Court found Byron guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Misconduct caused significant harm to client
  • Engaged in multiple acts of wrongdoing
  • Filed lawsuit w/o client’s authority to so act
  • Failed to serve initial status conference order on all parties
  • Failed to submit declaration and order of dismissal to trial court
  • Disobeyed a court order
  • Failed to appear at show cause sanction hearing
  • Failed to pay court-ordered $367 sanction within 30 days
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a consequence of his misconduct the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Bar Court punished Byron by gifting him with a complimentary 4-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. September 2016), Byron practices with The Ball Law Firm LLP at 644 South Figueroa Street in Los Angeles, California.
