Attorney Donald Beury of San Diego, CA; thieving imbecile

The state of California presented Donald Dennis Beury with a law license in 1989 after he graduated from California Western University Law School.

The California State Bar Court found Donnie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to file response to divorce petition for client who paid $1,000 fee and $500 for filing costs
• Failed to refund unearned fees (thief)
• Lied to client he had filed divorce petition response
• Failed to submit final child support order for one year despite being paid a $4,000 advance fee
• Unprepared when he attended settlement conference
• Filed opposition motion in court after being fired and did so to have settlement of $200,000 paid both to him and the client that fired him
• Represented client with conflicting interests
• Never filed guardianship documents on behalf of grandparent
• Failed to perform legal services competently (imbecile)
• Failed to maintain attorney-client confidentiality
• Failed to obey court orders
• Violated his duty of loyalty to his client by attempting to re-negotiate a settlement to his own personal advantage

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Bar Court punished Kim by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.
