Attorney Craig Weintraub of Cleveland; potty mouth loser
The state of Ohio presented Craig Tod Weintraub with a law license in 1987 after he graduated from Cleveland State University Law School.
It should be noted that Craig gained nationwide notoriety as the defense attorney for Ariel Castro, the man who kept three women as prisoners in his house for over ten years.
In one matter, Craig was involved as defense counsel in the case of United States vs. Troy B. Schuring, which was presided over by U.S. District Court Judge John Adams. Schuring was convicted in a child-pornography case that was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Michael Sullivan.
During the sentencing hearing of Schuring, Craig engaged in the following name calling of Mr. Sullivan.
Subsequently, Judge Adams held a hearing to determine whether Craig should be held in contempt of court for his use of profanity during the sentencing hearing. After the contempt hearing concluded, Judge Adams punished Craig by ordering that he be admonished.
And lastly, Judge Adams stated on the record that he was reporting Craig’s misconduct and the admonishment to Disciplinary Counsel of the Ohio Supreme Court. As expected, the enablers for Attorney Misfits at Disciplinary Counsel chose to take no action against Craig other than give a wink and a nod to his misconduct.
As we speak (ca. August 2016), Craig practices with the Law Office of Craig T. Weintraub at 55 Public Square in Cleveland, Ohio. |
