Attorney Corinne Railey of Clinton, NC; slacker

The state of North Carolina provided Corinne A. Railey with a law license in 1998 after she graduated from the University of Iowa Law School.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar has charged Corrine with engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to respond to discovery in divorce matter
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to advise client of court order
• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to properly supervise office staff
• Client sanction by court for Corrine’s for failing to comply with court order

As a consequence of her misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Corrine by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. July 2016) Corrine practices in Clinton, North Carolina.
