Attorney Richard Ward of Cincinnati; ethical gremlin

The state of Ohio presented Richard Grove Ward with a law license in 1986 after he graduated from the University of Cincinnati Law School.

Disciplinary Counsel of the Ohio Supreme Court found Dick guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Used client’s secrets/confidences to client’s disadvantage
  • Failed to acknowledge wrongful nature of conduct
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Commingled client funds with personal funds
  • Acted with a selfish motive
  • Misconduct involved multiple offenses
  • Testimony before disciplinary agency not credible

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2016), Dick practices with The Ward Law Firm LLC at 119 East Court Street in Cincinnati, Ohio.
