Attorney Daryl Gold of Shreveport, LA; crook, serial offender 

 
The state of Louisiana presented Daryl Gold with a law license in 1971 after he graduated from Louisiana State University (LSU) Law School.
 
The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Daryl guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Failed to refund unearned fee (crook)
  2. Failed to communicate with client
  3. Failed to provide client with written fee agreement
  4. Failed to complete terms of employment on client’s behalf
  5. Refused to address issue of his fees with clients
  6. Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  7. Pursued claims he knew were not meritorious
  8. Negligently violated duties owed to clients
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Daryl by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.
 
As one would suspect, this isn’t Daryl’s First bite at the Attorney Misconduct Apple Tree. He previously received fourteen 14 prior private reprimands or admonitions and three (3) suspensions of his law license for engaging in the following misconduct.
  1. Neglecting legal matters entrusted to him
  2. Failed to communicate with clients
  3. Failing to refund unearned fees (crook)
  4. Failing to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up Yours, said Daryl!)
  5. Commingled client funds with personal funds
  6. Delayed payments to clients
  7. Failed to provide accurate statements of funds received on clients’ behalf
  8. Failed to return property belonging to third party
As we speak (ca. June 2014), Daryl practices at 631 Milam Street in Shreveport, Louisiana.
