Attorney Mark Welker of Quitman, TX; thieving loser

 state of Texas presented Mark L.L. Welker with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from the University of Pacific Law School.

A panel of the District 1 Grievance Committee found Mark guilty of the following misconduct.

• Neglected legal matter entrusted to him
• Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
• Failed to refund unearned advance fees (thief)

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Mark by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 5-month suspension of his law license. 

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Texas Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Mark.

As we speak (ca. June 2016), Mark practices in Quitman, Texas.
