Attorney Terry Bonnie of Baton Rouge; ethical gremlin

The state of Louisiana presented Terry L. Bonnie with a law license in 1993 after he graduated from Southern University Law School.

The Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board found Terry guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Neglected legal matter entrusted to him
  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Signed client’s name to affidavit
  • Failed to properly supervise subordinate lawyer

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Terry by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. February 2016) Terry practices at 327 North Blvd in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
