Attorney William Peters Jr. of Gering, NE; serial offender

The state of Nebraska presented William C. Peters Jr. with a law license in 1986.

Disciplinary Counsel found Billy guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Neglected to complete contract for services
  • Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Billy!)
  • Failed to provide competent legal services (moron)
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to keep client reasonably informed of status of legal matter
  • Failed to promptly comply with client information requests

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Billy’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received two (2) complimentary reprimands for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Nebraska Supreme Court punished Billy by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. December 2015), Billy practices at 1425 11th Street in Gering, Nebraska.
