Attorney Marvin Miller of Cherokee, IA; ethical misfit

The state of Iowa presented Marvin Wallace Miller with a law license in  1960 after he graduated from the University of Iowa Law School.

The Iowa Supreme Court Attorney Disciplinary Board found Marv guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Neglected a legal matter entrusted to him

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Marv by gifting him with a second complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. January 2016), Marv practices with Miller, Miller, Miller PC at 216 West Main Street in Cherokee, Iowa.
